About us

Chef Linda Orcutt moved to Colorado from California, where she hosted a cooking show on San Diego’s premier morning show, “San Diego Living,” now “Good Morning San Diego.”

While traveling internationally for her previous husband’s career, Linda discovered her passion for cooking and international cuisine. Inspired by the intricate flavors and details of each country’s dishes, she talked to chefs and taught culinary classes at the Ritz Paris, a legendary hotel. French cooking became Linda’s favorite, and upon returning to California, she shared what she learned from France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and her Filipino roots.

After moving to Colorado, Linda met her current husband, Jim, a farmer and cattle rancher from Nebraska. Jim brought his green thumb and award-winning beef to Linda’s culinary world. Together, they created “Thyme For A Taste,” sharing their farm-to-table food and culinary knowledge. In the fall, Linda teaches classes in her home, and in the summer, they host farm-to-table dinners on their property, featuring international dishes, fresh California cuisine, and comforting favorites.
